Eight is a classic card game for 2 to 4 players. The aim of the game is to be the first to get rid of all your cards. The game uses a standard deck of cards with no jokers, and the main mechanism is to match the value or symbol on the top card of the discard pile with one of the cards from your hand.
Basic rules
- Each player starts with 5 cards.
- The rest of the deck is placed down as a draw pile.
- The top card from the draw pile is turned over and starts the waste pile.
- Players must put down cards that match the number or type of the top card on the discard pile.
- Cards with the number eight can be laid down at any time and the player can choose which suit the game continues in.
